What kind of lights do you use?

Just interested to see what people are running here.

I run a PFO mini pendant with a 250w coralvue electronic ballast. Currently have an xm 10k but am thinking about switching to phoenix 14k eventually. I used to supplement with 2x75w vho actinics along with my halide, but got rid of those when I moved. My wife didn't really like the blue/purple glow they gave our living room from the outside.

mine are the standard 10000°K 250w HQI double-ended metal halide that came with the fixture and I want to try some different K's to see how they look.

DE 150 watt MH 10000°K Coralife's x3 bulbs, 96 watt PC 50/50 daylight/actinic 03 10000°K x4 bulbs on my 125 display. 96x2 PC (1) daylight 10000°K, (1) Actinic 03 10000°K on my 70 gallon in the basement, 70 watt MH 14000°K JBJ Viper bulb on my frag grow out. 18 watt NO fixture on my CPR refugium growing chaeto, 120 watt Flourescent flood bulb also growing chaeto in the sump.

I have also concidered changing out ALL of my 150 watt 10000°K bulbs into either 14000°K or even 20000°K's. It's either that or sell off my current fixture and go to a 250x3 fixture (which might not be a bad idea either). *Evil hobby* as Jumpman said once before lol

I bet most are used as supplimental lighting along with MH's. I know that is how mine is 3 250w MH and 4 96w PC actinics. I do have a t5 on my frag tank.

Where did you get that fixture from Matt? I was looking at possibly doing MH on my 70 gal in the basement... But, VHO has always been an option as they are better on the electricity bill. Also, how good are they on light penetration as my tank is 24" deep thus I would at least need 75% of the light to adequately get down to 16-18". I would also be growing out sps/lps in this tank. Give me a bit of input =).
