I think anyone on this entire site would like a Bubble King skimmer... But, there are a LOT better things than I can spend over $1000 on than a skimmer (and this is coming from the guy that spent $500 on his skimmer) *keep in mind $1k is even one of the smaller BK skimmers* (new price keep in mind).
I didn't know that spazz quit making skimmers though... Man that really sucks his stuff was out of this world. I would have been more than willing to do just about whatever he wanted for one of his skimmers!!! (within reason you pervs lol).
Whatever you go with Brian I'm sure it'll be good... I would definately look at another Recirc skimmer though I just think that they do a good job and you can keep the pump sizes down by running one.

I just upgraded my coralife 65 to a coralife 125 and it is working great. Picked up 125 model from Matt's the otherday and would recommend it to anyone. Brian should go with the 220 model- the biggest they make. Those others sound really good but they have a price tag to follow. I really never thought much of coralife until I got the 65 through a trade and now I am sold on them.

I agree with Brad, I do really like the Reeflow Orca Gold, that would by MY first choice for the money, running externally. Internally I love the ATB medium with the airstar...something about a super efficient, super quiet pump really does it for me. I also really like the bubbleking supermarine's, which are about the same price. For all of these, we are really talking a chunk of $ though. For the bigger tanks you pretty much have to break the $600 barrier for a medium end+ new skimmer (MSX, Octopus pro)
I know some of the coralife & prisim skimmers can get the job done with proper tweaking, but when your tank matures and are really looking to pull the nutrients out of the water column for better coloration (sps) the extra power is important. I started out with a seaclone, then graduated to the EuroReef 5-3, then put on the gate-valve modification, and now the mesh modification of the impeller. The quest for improvement never ends eh?

There is a BK supermarine 250 in DesMoines...specifically Waukee where I grew up, for $1200ish I think...that would work great!

Oh baby that's a big bugger isn't it... *sigh* Looks like tanks 150-800 gallons respectively (and I bet it will handle more than that if I've read enough about bubbleking as I have lol). Looks like a new price tag for this model is about $1650.
