Tanks...taking down the 125...settting up the nano..and the 200!!

OK-this weekend (sunday/monday) were VERY BUSY for us. We went on a 6 hr drive (one way) and got a new tank!! The only dilemma is that we have to take down the 125 (it is in the kitchen) to put up the 200 (you cannot separate the tank from the stand, so I cannot put it in the office as originally planned). So the 125 will go in the office and be a fish only for the most part...(so we are planning...) and the 200 will be the new reef. We also have the nano about full too, and my oldest-Zariah-who will be 3 on tomorrow-- said MOMMY DID YOU BUY ME A NEW FISH?!? She was so excited and is calling him blacky. I will post pix as soon as I can figure out why my camera is not loading to the computer.

What in the world is going on with our club? Its like upgrade fever in here. My apartment building won't support anything bigger, this sucks.

Definately post up some pictures! And your should probly start a build thread for the 200!

i think this will "kinda" be my build thread..but it is kind of an instant set=up... we could NOT pass up the deal--no way..and i thought my 125 looked good--but this tank is beautiful so hopefully it will look good once it is set up!

You know if you filled that 200 up with some vinegar water and powerheads for a day or so that crud on the back would practically fall off.

http://animal-world.com/encyclo/info.../calculate.htm
says it is 168 gallons--the guy we got it from said it was about 200 gallons...but I guess the calculator never lies :P
the tank, stand, and sump were made by Midwest Custom Aquariums.

Well, we got the 125 down..as of 1130pm...I forgot I had a 6 line in there and found him in a tiny 'puddle' of water-threw him in a bucket of water and started swimming right away. All livestock is in the basement tanks for holding... found out how nasty it can get behind a huge tank that you cannot clean behind-especially after water spills... Anyway-new pix on photobucket tomorrow--We have a long night ahead of us-along with a long day tomorrow(Wednesday--Zariah turns 3!!)

yeah i usually do l x w x h divided by 231. That always seems to work the best. with that equation makes it about 189.4 gallons. In other words, big enough lol.
