Surge Device *interested concept*

I was doing a bit of research on something COMPLETELY different and came upon this. I am going to try to duplicate it and see if it's something that's actually worthwhile or not (seeing I like doing plumbing DIY stuff lol).

Search "Carlson Surge Device" and "Reverse Carlson Surge Device" and you can find lots of information. Why they called it a "Borneman" device I don't know. They cause a good surge but most tend to be noisy and thats why people got away from them was the noise, not because they don't work.

Yeah that seems to be what I keep reading... Was having a hard time finding a good diagram on how they actually made them though. I'm finding video's of them running but, no real blue-prints to go about it.

Seems like an easy enough concept though.
