Sick Jawfish

I looked at wet web media and I cant find anything similar hope you can help. I first noticed that he wouldn't come out of his house for dinner. After two days I thought perhaps he had a cave in. So I dug him out and he scooted to the other side of the tank and hid the rest of the night. The way he moved I thought he was fine, but this morning he was out with a swollen stomache and red anal area. The only thing that I could find that could be it is he ate some rubble. He moves fine does his tail stand good color, tank tests fine any Ideas?

I don't know what to tell you. If he has a bowel obstruction there would be very little to be done about it as far as I know. Keep water params good and hope for the best is all I can say.
