salt into fresh

Hey everybody,

I have a few questions. I have a 55gallon that has a falco hawkfish,
http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...26&pcatid=2626

and a Valentini Puffer
http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...250&pcatid=250

My first question is how well has your experiences with hawkfish in a reef aquarium been? I'm interested in keeping him and just placing him in my 120 reef.

Also who is interested in the Valentini Puffer. He only requires smaller systems but larger is better of course. I've owned him about 3 months. Asking price would be 10 dollars obo...

thanks everyone for looking. I live in the middle of La Crosse basically and can make plans to meet with anybody I need to.

Your hawkfish would have to be watched with inverts, they're notorious for having them for dinner. My flame once attacked and ate a shrimp bigger than him.

I used to have a flame and a long nose hawkfish...I think they are both some of the most interesting fish in the tank...but yeah, you'll have shrimp issues with them most likely. Both are pearching fish...I don't believe either have swim bladders...I love the longnose ones with the stripes in particular.

I have a falco hawk fish in my aquarium and I have not had any problems with it yet. The shrimp that I have are about the same size as him. He is a lot of fun to watch he is quiet a character he loves the camera and he is always front and center when I walk up to the tank.

yeah sorry guys, i had no typing skills yesterday. Im getting rid of the fish, no way getting rid of the shrimp would work with two larger tangs.

Nick, Hawk fish is about 2 inchs maybe. Very colorful even under standard flouro's. Owned him about 2 months. I'm trying to get 10 dollars out of each fish but will take offers and or trades.
