Reefcentral?

Anybody else having trouble getting on RC today? I tried and I had the wife try at Mayo and it won't load for either of us.

I'm not sure why its down, but when its down for maintenance it usually says that. Nano-reef was down 2 days ago with similar loading issues that RC is having, turned out to be a attack on the site's servers and they lost 13 days of posts.

Well the site is responding but I can't get it to load either with the DNS or the IP address for their site. Thats why I can't figure out what they're doing over there.

Plus I just got a pump in the mail from a guy I paid extra to help out with shipping costs and paypal fees. Waited over 2 weeks, I just got it, its COMPLETELY filthy broken stuff, parts missing and the jager 250watt heater he threw in for $15 was shattered all over the box. I NEED to get on so I can send some hate mail.

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

yeah I was trying to get on it too, only to post a nasty comment in the feedback forums about the moron from the super awesome ebay purchase I was involved with a month ago or whatever that was.

I am with Rotties I try to stay away from rc as there are too many jerks.

I am guessing they are under a dos attack or they lost their database and are frantically attempting a restore..

Amen to the "too many jerks" comment. Reef Central is full of so much information, but you spent 90% of your time digging through the off-topic personal attacks just trying to find the info you know is there... Ugh...

I've bought and sold lots of stuff on the RC equipment selling threads with success, but there's always a chance of someone being a total a-hole when something arrives damaged or whatever.

At any rate, I'm glad LARK and ECRC are on TRT instead of RC...
