Possible project for next spring
Well, I already have my first potential project for next spring.
I'm at the stage now where Jen and I want to refinish our hardwood floors so technically I should tear the tank down to refinish the flooring under the tank as well correct?????? Don't you all agree???? Can anyone say tank moving party??? hehehehe This would be about the equivalent of when we moved Josh's tank other than it wouldn't have to all be done in one day... Everything would be transfered from the D.T. (Display Tank) to a holding tank that I would have prior setup in the kitchen (about 3' from the D.T.) where inhabitants would remain until the flooring would be sanded, stained, and clear coated. Then tank would be placed back into place and better pre-determined aquascaping could begin (this is the stage I would need the help).
Well, this is just in the planning stages at the moment... But, I'm pretty sure that this is going to happen unless something extreme were to happen. But, as with most things saving the money is the big factor thus the long planning stage. We are big on paying things outright so that we never carry a balance on our CC bills. I just figured that I would mention it and see if anyone might happen to know someone who does floor finishing and might be able to ring up some pricing to do so. This is something that we would probably just hire out so that it would be done right instead of hoping for the best that we could get it close to being right.
