Pictures - New Items, Frag Rock, Toadstool
Ok thought I would do an update here before my progression starts with the Rebuild (auxiliary tanks). First off Brian came and picked up his toadstool, I tried to tell him this was his and that it knew that it was going to be moved again and that was why it was so small...he didn't believe it..
Ok, here is his right before the move
Ok then I got these from Olde Towne Pets last week, finally getting around to posting them.
Here is the Bristletooth Tang
Sailfin Tang
Decorator Arrow Crab
Ok, then now that I have room at the end of the tank where the toadstool was at, I re-arranged some rock and took one of the flatter pieces and made a SPS Frag rock. Here is a picture of it drilled.
And last but not least in the tank, these are frags I got from the meeting and no I wasn't able to get all of them on the one rock but got most of them. I am hoping that with the changes over the next year that I can just pull these back out of the holds and move back to the frag tank without them attaching...might just keep moving them so I can Well here it is in the tank.

I'm impressed by the new additions Cary... And I can't believe that Brian would think that you were not telling him the truth about the toadstool. I mean gosh it was just scared to leave that's all! lol. It would grow! lol
I'd be curious to know if I could get a sailfin to get along with my Powder Brown or not.. I know that I have concidered placing my Yellow back into the 125... But, I'd hate to get the sailfin and then have it turn out not to get along. Not to mention the lack of QT Tank right now due to the 70 having been converted into a LPS (Large Polyp Stony) Tank.
Anyhow, the tank looks impressive as heck hope to be able to duplicate some of the things you have accomplished with your setup.

I have to say my yellow was being a bully for a long time and the Coral Beauty was chasing the bristletooth but they are getting along swimmingly now...

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

I would say there is more risk to soft corals than anything else, when I got this one he was covered with blue xenia. But he will also attach other things such as small rocks, small pieces of shells or other things he finds.
Personally, on the true arrow crabs I have had them on and off since the tank has been up and they have never "Killed" anything, they have however "cleaned-up" a dead fish, from watching them they always seem way to slow to catch a healthy fish, they might try but it would be like ok here one comes, get ready....take swing...oh where did that darn fish go...it was right here a second ago...dang missed again...
Just my 2cents on that one

Pics look great Cary. I really like your tangs. Can't wait to get one.
What updates are you doing to your auxillary tanks? I need to pay better attention!

I say Auxillary tanks first, as that process is going to be probably a at 3-4 months, maybe a little quicker but...Then the work on the display starts.

I stopped in to see Matt at OTP today and he told me that no shipments of corals will be coming in for ANY stores with the exception of soft corals until March 1st or 3rd (can't remember which). Sounds like this is a problem for ALL stores not just his. I'm sure that he'll chime in and give everyone the low down on what's up here as we talked but Jen was with me and she had a few things she wanted to do so we talked for a little while but, needed to run.

Welcome to the forum tankdreamer. The pics of Cary's setup are nice but, it's nothing like the real deal seeing it in person.
