Ouch
Got stung by my frogspawn, man does it hurt. I can barely close my hand, and it's starting to blister up. For your viewing pleasure...

Make certain that it gets checked out quickly by a doctor if it's not better soon. I've seen too many stories about folks laid up in the hospital for infections from similar wounds.

Oh, that looks like it stings... a lot. I'm sure you already know this, but make sure you clean it out really good. Some Benadryl probably wouldn't hurt, too.
Hope it heals quick Josh. Ouch.

I'm sharpening my fragging tools...just in case!
just so you know, I'm not being heartless & cold...(or too much so I hope) I've talked with him 3-4x in the last day about this and share the concern.

I've gotten "zingers" from my frogspawns & hammers, and tingly fingers, red minor swelling, but nothing like this. This was not a "maybe brushed up against it" sting, but a bit more forceful, and no doubt about what it was doing the stinging. Josh was scraping coralline and the tool skipped, ending in a sharp knuckle blow down to the coral skeleton. The coral is ok, is anyone was worried about it.
Josh, I forgot to ask, it the life insurance paid up?
