Sandy,
I thought Cary said the small tank, (10G) one got broken. Was it the one drilled high or low?

That is the sump and much harder to drill because the glass is thicker. Good luck with that.

We are going to go with a 40 so it Will completely fit the stand and not drill it, the return pump that you are using is submersible correct?

That should work.
I feel bad, because I thought about taking hte bulkheads off so they didn't get bumped, but I was also worried that if they were taken off it make sthe glass weak and could cut someone.

That is my luck. One of them was probably the thing I donated back to LARK from the Rochester meeting.
Jeff and I had been out and about since 9:00 am and my family was out of town, so my two dogs were in their kennel at home and I felt bad. I was going to stop and let you know we were leaving, but it started getting busy fast and you had your hands full.
I won't be getting my frag tank going now until after I am off crutches, but I am going to read the Reef Aquarium Vol 1 & 2 while on bed rest, so I will be a Reef Genius. I have already read Reef Aquairum 3 like 10 times.

I work with glass on a daily basis but I just can't imagine drilling a hole in a tank so I like Cary's idea of going with the 40 and no drilling.

Sandy, I completely understand and agree. Cutting holes is about as nerve racking as there is.
My next setup will not be drilled, the OR2500 pump doenst' product enough heat to cause an issue, so there should be no problem.

Well it might take me a little longer to get up and running. With all of the time and effort I am putting into remodeling. I spoke to the guy who is making my custom french doors about making me a custome tank stand to match my new doors. It should be really neat but it will take between two and four weeks to complete.

Speed is not a good thing with Reef tanks, so I completely understand.
