The Fosters thing has been yearly, in June, for the last 3 years I think. Sounds like a great event, but hotels & campsites book early. Only a few of our club members have gone, and all have raved about it. Our meetings are every 2-3 months...not quite as big as the foster event, but we've got quality people!!!

Im going to this meeting mostly to socialize, learn, and google at a very beautiful tank!! hopefully at the next meeting i will be set up and ready to buy coral frags.

yep fosters is once a year this is there 4th year (my third) they will have 70 sellers (includeing jason and I) people come from all over. Last year there were people from as far as New York and I forgot how far west.

Actually Aaron last year there were a couple that came from England if I remember correctly and I'm not sure if this was just a rumor or not but, they said that the 75 booths filled fast enough that they were going to try to make more room for others. Thus they were thinking about doing what they planned for the future which is find enough room to potentially have 150 booths (probably not that many this year but, they were looking to make more room non-the-less).

well either way per fosters this year "Trader registration is CLOSED.
We are full with 70 traders". and it was open still a month ago. If it ever gets that big to 150 I'm sure Ike wont be donateing tanks at that point.

Anyway what else is nice about fosters is "their big vendors" are there you can meet and bs. Last year Red Sea's CEO was there handing out buckets of salt and bs with us. You will also find other bussiness there just walking around and if you order ahead of time you can pick stuff up from them out in the parking lot or again bs. lol but it saves of shipping.
