ahh yeah your prolly right

The clam is not gaping I think that was just a fluke, could also be because it was trying to expel the sand off of it.

Definately meant the clam. lol. I think most eels leave their mouths open cause their ready to eat at all times!

heheh yeah I should have thought that, not sure why my mind went to the eel anywhoo I think it's doing good but I will check to make sure.

(we recently got rid of our eel) It would swim at the surface waiting for food, and would come RIGHT up to you. Nathan fed it from his fingers at one point-never again, scared the crap out of him. That thing would eat and eat and eat. but we did not want it to eat our cleaner shrimp-so we kept him full. they are a beautiful addition-just not for my tank anymore--not with all the shrimp anyway.
