For the introductory pre-order price ($1000), this looks to compete with the ATB Medium for a heck of a lot less. I really need a job (and a bigger tank...). lol

So, who's going to be the first LARK member to get a sweet cone skimmer so a meeting can be hosted there and I can drool all over it?

I've been looking pretty hard at these the last two days...got the askoll pump I want, but it's pretty big...need a bigger tank, and on that I'm thinking....5-6 foot peninsula, steel stand, wood skinned, ultra quiet, ultra energy efficient.

LOL, Cary. I've spent enough money on my tank in the last few weeks already, thanks. :-) But if you all are willing to drive an hour and a half, I'd love to host a LARK meeting sometime this summer at my place. Or at least a joint ECRC/LARK meeting, though ECRC wouldn't probably be represented too well since we're pretty thin these days on members. If you want, you can drool over the Octo Extreme that I got INSTEAD of a fancy, expensive cone skimmer. lol

Who knows I seem to go through Skimmers pretty fast I might eventually end up selling my skimmer outright for an exchange... I'm not sure if it'd be an upgrade or not as my skimmer is pretty darn amazing but, with the pump I have on it far from effecient! lol

We'll have to see. I've been watching the prices on the the bubblekings slowly come down as well and that would be a DEFINATE upgrade lol. That's one of those life-time achievement skimmers =)
