Need advice for frag setup

Cary, I like the manifold idea, I've seen others with them for big tanks, and looks good. I agree with the first pipe for the highest tank, but I still worry about losing pressure...by increasing the diameter of many pipes you will lose gph fast.

It's nice to be able to work things like this out with others with the same interests & different thoughts!

So Matt if we were to decrease the 2nd and 3rd down to 1/2" would improve the flow? I am curious because with my setup I have one main and 6 smaller ones that I will need to feed too.

Just curious as we are all putting idea's out there.

well, it should make the amount of water squirt at a higher pressure, but the volume would be pretty similar...I guess it would be like squirting water through a hose then straw...same water amount, but higher pressure. I know you can buy manifolds that have 3-5 or more outputs, but dont' know if that would save you any $ over what you've got.
