Orange/Red cap Montipora...
I plan on breaking the monster up into Colony sized pieces. I'll keep one, and the remainder will be sectioned off into xl hunks (8x10? layered). I hope to have 2-3 big pieces, with whorls, layers, and leaves branching off each. I won't break it up until shortly before the meeting, as I don't have a tank big enough to hold the colonies. I expect these full-sized colonies will be $40-60. I've seen them regularly go for $80-120 for XL pieces from other reefers, much more from vendors. Let me know if you might be interested and I'll keep in touch. These would be available for pickup in Onalaska, or I could bring them to Cary's meeting Feb 7. One is spoken for (Shawn).

I will likely only have 2 xmas tree montis', they are tempermental

The cream/blue tipped acro RTN'd, all 4 frags died. They needed to cure/rest for a few days before gluing...I think I was over-ambitious. The mother lived, but at 1/3 the original size
I'm still waiting on a few people who were interested in pieces.
Like most others, I hope to have everything bagged and labeled the morning of the meeting so that I can enjoy the time socializing with everyone.

what happened with the x-mas tree?

You'll still get one...I had to replace some of the squares...I fear they were out of water too long while I was gluing them. about 1/2 of them made it, others did not. I originally had 4 "colonies"...now have two. you guys have one, so does DJ.
