mad as heck/ not reef related
/rant grrr, so I went to my daycare to grab my kids and head home. I was in the house for all of five minutes. In that time some pos broke into my Jeep and stole my laptop.. Broad daylight in La Crosse WI. WTF!?!?! When they realized it was encrypted and there was no way in hell they were going to crack it instead of just putting it down they smashed it against a fence and destroyed it.
This is the second time. The first time was with my Jaguar but that was after dark in a parking ramp downtown, that I expected. Apparently there has been a rash of crimes in the area. I am debating leaving my garage open and sitting in there with my desert eagle and waiting for some moronic pos to try and steal something from me. Work is gonna love this.... anger rising. /rant off
on a side note my new duncans look incredible!

"on a side note my new duncans look incredible!"
LOL.
Sorry about the laptop! I've had numerous crimes committed against my belongings in Winona too, so it's not just LaCrosse.

I had a car stolen once in "Joisey". Picked it up at the police yard a couple of days later all beat to crap. Man I hate that state.

If you car insurance doesn't cover it your homeowners definitely should. You've got coverage built in for personal property thats "in transit" or outside the house. Depending on how your policy is written they might not cover theft but "mysterious disappearance" is another way to get that to go through.

As long as you filed a police report, you should be covered. More than likely on the home owners. With auto, coverage of items in or on the car need to be listed such as cd players and after market upgrades. (increasing the cost to insure) Your home owners has a replacement of loss or damaged personal items. Be sure to find out what the deductible is before you tell them how much it was worth!! LOL- Are you sure this was all that was taken? LOL
P.S. I find my 3 wood to be very pursuasive!!

Good point with deductables Kristie. Maybe you should add the next one to your scheduled personal property on your homeowners Josh. That way the company can't really say anything no matter what happens and it would be covered with no deductable with the previously agreed value.

dang. Ive been down this road almost 3 times now. I had two books well over 100 cds stollen. 80 percent of the cds were purchased too so the total sum was very high. I had my CD player broken becuase the moron didnt know how to get it out, so he must have figured, if i cant have it, then neither can you. Id love to meet this prick lol. the most recent time i had my car parked in the ramp and they were attempting to steal my sub box and amps from my trunk. They must have taken there merry time because i got a call from the cops. They were there so long, a parking cop came up and cought them. Owell i got money for damages and there in jail due to multiple counts. Morons
