Thanks for hosting the meeting, Cary. It was a really fun time all around, and your tank gives many of us a LOT of work to do in the future with our setups. :-)

Yes, I agree completely Joe... Definately a big hand to Cary for hosting a great meeting as well as having a great setup to show off to the rest of us. I personally really enjoy being able to just hang around and just talk with a few guys that have the same passion as that of myself and it's nice to be able to see other setups that make me drool (such as yours did).

Btw Joe that coral is beautiful the purple polyps have already opened I'm just waiting until it gets a chance to relax a bit and get that nice green color back to the encrusted parts of itself.

Thanks again all and I can't wait until the next one (Brians maybe?)

Jason

Jason,

I don't know why, but that monti really took off when I put it in my tank. It had slowed down the last few months as other things sort of took off (ain't that always the way sps goes???), but it was always a good grower and the polyps always came back out incredibly fast after it was disturbed or anything else. It's a good colony, and I'm sure it'll continue to do well in your tank like it did in mine.

Thanks for hosting the meeting Cary. It was amazing to see how far your tank has come in the last 11 months.

Cary,
Thanks for hosting...your tank exceeded my expectations, which were already high! Everything looks so natural, and the look against the bar is perfect!

Thanks everyone for coming, really appreciate all the great comments, its reassuring that I have been doing things right and things are continuing to look better.

Joe, the corals and everything else is doing great, got the couple of loose pieces mounted tonight.

Jason, Josh,

I got some frags started of the green leather as well, so hopefully by the next meeting they will be attached and ready to go.

Thanks again everyone.

Cary and Robyn

Awesome... I figured that you might cut it a bit after you and I talked before I left. So, how many stalks did you take off of it? Also, any luck on the devils finger opening with the jet now pointing at it?

I took 3 off for right now but could easily get probably 5 more without hurting it at all. Nope, Devils finger is still closed up, I suppose I could try another spot in the tank but not sure where that would be...a nice problem to have, no room to move stuff around....
