i.d. help needed

Hi. I've seen pics of these somewhere before but can't find them now. I have one living under the Rics and one under the shrooms. Can someone tell me what they are please. They are yellowish, about 1/2" in diameter, kinda fuzzy (maybe tiny polyps?), and they have a small spout coming out of them. Thanks in advance!

That's what it is... A Green Sponge... They come in all varities of colors (Pink, White, Green *these are the colors I have in my tanks*) and they are a sign of good health in your tank. Because if your levels get a little messed up they will actually begin to decline. So, whatever you are doing you must be doing it right.. Keep up the good work Dan.

yep...I have the same ones (maybe came from may tank) florescent yellow/green sponges on the underside. Good for filtration

BTW Dan, I just saw your tank on Matt's website and it's coming along really NICELY!!! Nice to see what it becomes instead of just rock and water like the last time I saw a pic of it (when you showed me at Matt's store the one day).
