Alright as promised I will post up some pics. The pics are not going to be able to do the coral justice as they still are not completely reopened and/or showing their true colors yet.
Pic #1 is a Purple Torte
Pic #2 is a Red/White/Green Acan
Pic #3 Blue Acro w/ Purple Tips
Pic #4 Flame Birdsnest Pink on the bottom yellow on the top
Pic #5 Big Birdsnest I bought from Fosters themselves
Pic #6 Yellow Base/Purple Tip Whispy Acro (same as my purple-tip I currently have)

I am unable to get a good picture of the Solid Blue Elkhorn Acro I bought because I placed it in a hard to take a pic of spot... But, I'll try again as soon as I convince Jen to get a new camera lol
But, here are the other things that I go. The Green Pocillipora is probably the nicest piece that I saw of any pocillipora. I bought the piece for $25 and the rest of the day I had people asking to buy it from me. Had some guy offer me $40 w/out me even telling him how much I paid for it. But, it was so nice that I turned him down.
Pic #1 Blastomussa Merletti
Pic #2 Green Pocillipora
Pic #3 Purple Zoa (Bought it from Aaron so, he'll have to I.D. it for me sometime)

Your entirely welcome for the pocillopora. It was the old mother of the frags from last year. Glad to hook a fellow reefer up. If you could only see the better half of that one. Aaron has seen it. At any rate glad you like it. Pays to be the early bird!!

I had 2 purple torts I had to push out of the tank for $8 each. They were encrusted 2-3" frags. I will have some better stuff next year as I upgrade my prop system.

Steve welcome back Its nice to see you on here.
As far as my experience at fosters. I sold $259 in coral (ok Jason sold $25 for me) While yes I was gone from time to time it was my vaction and a chance to meet up with some friends and make new ones. Its always nice to see where the corals end up. 2 of them this year are now in New York.
Sorry Jason But I don't know what led you to believe you had a spot "all that time" There were a few pm's that you were sending me and they were saying I might not know until the day of the swap. Yes on the 17th I said I thought there was a spot and on the 18th I realized I needed a spot for my Mother in law. To me family comes first. I was fortunate to be able to get my father in law in the tour also at the last minute. But hey atleast you were able to go on the tour and drop my name to get a coral at 50% off right The corals we got will be ending up in 4 different reef clubs over time. The great news is that all of them are different and the clubs don't have any of them (except for the blue xenia which is a different type) all in said and done It ended up being atleast 14-15 new corals for the clubs. I think that maybe they were so generous to us due to how we handle everything, and they were having fun also. I would like to start a "don't break the chain" concept with these corals. I will get back to that later. There is already 5 people on the waitting list for the blue zoo's
I will post pics soon. As far as the coral that came back with me, I could have never afforded it with out winning (one coral was 600 alone).
I have been busy since getting back. I got back sunday night at 6:30 and I was finally off to be by 2:00 am.
Jason did you remember to dip your corals?
Thank you Fosters and Smith, the people I was with and the new people I met to make this truely memerable

Awesome to hear from the person that I actually bought something from instead of just "here's your item hope it works for you." I have to say that there really was some nice stuff there one guy was selling a TON of superman monti encrusted on frag plugs as well as Pokerstar Monti, and about 3 or 4 other types of multicolored caps. But, the only thing that prevented me from getting a piece of it was the fact that they definately came with a price tag. $50 for each Superman and $65 for each Pokerstar. Don't get me wrong they really were beautiful pieces just a little more than I wanted to spend on a frag plug worth of it =(.
Aaron, I understood that family comes first... Heck the same would have gone for me if my folks would have been with. Not to mention that your inlaws were willing to watch your son through the whole weekend. And like you said I did get that birdsnest which is quite the beast of a piece. Can't wait to see the pics of what some of those pieces look like as like I said I didn't get to see them.
And no I didn't dip my corals. I can't honestly say I've ever done it with any addition. Although with the free sample I got I might try it the next time I get a coral.
Jason

Doing a coral dip is always a good idea. Thankfully our club's tanks don't have too many pests around, but there are a ton of people from other areas that do have pests in their tanks and a simple coral dip can prevent you from getting them into your tank. I dip all my corals and have never had my corals get harmed through the process.

For corals with hard skeletons such as many LPS, I do a FW dip on the skeleton and do a lugol's (iodine) dip on all other corals. I've thought about doing an Interceptor dip on all SPS corals, but decided that if I did get LRB, I don't have very many corals that they would affect anyway (yet) and it is a potent drug that is tough to get. FW and Iodine dips help prevent flat worms from getting into a tank, which can be ugly and annoying and it more prevelant than LRB.
