Foster Smith Frag Swap
Did anyone else know that they cancelled the F/S frag swap this year? They still have alot of interest in it. I guess it takes to much of there resources. The economy is hurting everyone.

I heard several months ago that they were going to turn it into a bi-yearly event instead of every year.

Thats odd....when Mike and I went up there in January we asked about it and it was cancelled then. They did say for sure it will be bi-annually in the future. So next year around april/may they should be having another one. I'll be interested to see who they're getting for speakers.

Acutally in 08 they did have it. Thats when I won At that time they were already saying there weren't doing it this year, They were going to do it every other year. They spent usually 8 months + in planning and they wanted to see how some of the other swaps went. I would be interested to in reading where there will be no more swaps.

Got my years mixed up. They where going to miss 09, because they had one in 08. They just cacelled the one in 2010. At least that is what they told me on the tour. Sorry for the confusion.

Yeah, they said during the DFS tour that they weren't planning on doing one in 2010 because of the economy and such.
