Well the eggs hatched yesterday afternoon while I was at work no signs of babies which I didn't expect since the lights were on, oh well, gives me a couple of weeks to prepare for the next batch. This time I am going to place a piece of terra cotta pot where they laid the eggs so I can just move the whole thing into the other tank.

I've heard of guys using bathroom tiles, is there a reason you chose the terra cotta pot? Just curious!

Only from what I read, I haven't put it in yet so maybe I will try the tile first, I think I have some left over from the basement, I like that idea a little better because it is flatter than the chunk of terra cotta pot that I broke off.

Thanks

No problem, I liked the idea, I was just really happy to see the eggs with the "Summer of Neglect" going on, I haven't done a water change all summer and I will take any suggestions that people have

Depending on what the texture of the tile is you might want to put it upside down for them to lay the eggs on. I'd think the glossy side of the tile might to too slick for them to stick on...Thought about that last night while I was counting the dots on the ceiling.

Beautiful. Sure sign of well adapted clownfish in your aquarium.

Make sure you isolate them the night they hatch, because even the parents will eat the babies soon as they see them. Finding nemo made clowns out to be such good parents! lol to bad its wrong.

Well they are right on track now, laying regularly now, second set of eggs were found last night, not sure when they were laid because we weren't around on fri, sat or sunday until later. From what I can tell they should hatch any day now, they have the tell tale signs of the silver eyes. Looks like I need to get the other tanks ready so I can try to raise them. Will watch again tonight for awhile to see if they hatch, the nice thing this time is they layed them in a little different spot on a rock that is removeable....would be great if they kept this spot as theirs
