What time is the tour at? We are at my inlaws "cabin" on Pickerel lake this weekend which is an hour away from Rhinelander. I have given the bug to my brother in law and he mentioned going there on Saturday together, I said, "hrmm what a coincidence" Now if only I had some cash to buy some stuff from Live aquaria.

Go for it Josh its going to be fun. How ever with that said. I have to back out also. My wife was out regardless, and for me well with buying the bower and now that I just bought a scolymia. my funds are drained alot, and I have no more room for corals. Enjoy the tour guys and don't drool to much into the tanks. It will be fun for all who go. Take alot of pics to share with the rest.

Are we still going to make the 20 people? I certainly hope so... I know that with lack of baby sitters Jen is going to stay around here and go to my nephews b-day party... So, anyone looking to carpool I'd be open to ideas.

I hate to say this, but I may end up needing to bail as well. I just found out an hour ago that a relative passed away and that the funeral and wake will be Saturday morning. If I can get out of there in time, I will make it to the meeting, but it is looking doubtful.

For those of you going theres a few of us going up the night before and staying in Rhinelander. We'll plan on being at the retail store around 11-11:30 so we're there to meet up with people and be a little early for the tour. Please try and be there around 11:30. They do have syrofoam coolers on hand so its completely up to you if you want to bring your own cooler or not.
Address:
2851 S River Rd, Rhinelander WI 54501
Also if you do not have my cell phone number PLEASE PM me if you think you will need it and I'll get it to you. I don't want anyone left out there without a way to get ahold of the group.

Thank you for your interest in touring Drs. Foster and Smith’s Aquaculture Coral & Marine Life Facility; we are looking forward to meeting everyone on Saturday. After being alerted to this thread, I would like to clear up any confusion on what may be purchased on the tour.
Your group will be more than welcome to purchase any items in our facility that is not already sold online. This includes all Coral Frags, Fish, SPS corals, LPS corals, Polyps, Mushrooms, Soft corals, Clams and Invertebrates in the entire facility.
If anyone in your group sees an item on the tour that is currently listed on the Divers Den section of the LiveAquaria.com our staff will be more than happy to see if the item is still listed for sale on the LiveAquaria.com web site.
In regards to private tours, currently we do not offer any private tours to local hobbyists, but rather extend the offer to local schools for continuing education, as well as to aquarium clubs once per year. I would encourage everyone here to contact other local clubs if you are interested in trying to visit more frequently. Most of the clubs will post this info on ReefCentral, or their local club’s web site/forum.
Once again, we look forward to seeing your group and spending some time talking fish and reef aquaria with other dedicated enthusiasts. Travel safe!
Regards,
Kevin Kohen
Director of LiveAquaria
Drs. Foster and Smith

Thanks Kevin, good to know. My mis-understanding I did not realize the whole facility was available. And thanks again for the opportunity to come and tour the facility.

Oh and another quick reminder I forgot about. If your planning on purchasing a larger quantity of dry goods the retail store would like us to email the list over at least 24 hours in advance and they will have them ready for us when we get there. If you need to do so let me know and I'll get the form emailed over to you.
