Cisco Pix 501 Firewalls for sale
Anyone need a Cisco pix 501 firewall? I just upgraded to a Cisco ASA 5505 and do not need my pix firewall anymore. Sorry I know this is not reef related but I thought someone may need a real firewall not some cheap linksys or Dlink. I will even configure it for you. I am asking $50 each. I have two for sale.

Let me get back to you on that, I'm not personally interested but I have 2 people I know who might be. Anything to help a fellow reefer.

If I had a need for one I would definately be all over that... But, for the amt of info that I actually need to protect on my computer it'd be a serious waste... Actually, I've kind of been hoping that someone would just crash the darn thing so I could get a new one and stop pondering reformatting it AGAIN lol.

lol I can arrange that Jason It is ridiculous how cheap they are now. (computers) If you are looking to get a new one do not get the new Dell's they are horrible. Go with an HP.
Thanks Nick I appreciate it, gotta get my fix $$$ from somewhere

Thanks for the insight.. I used to have an HP but when Jen and I hooked up she had a Dell and that's what she wanted again (purchased in late "04") and there has been more than one occurance where I have concidered just saving myself the trouble and setting it on fire to tell Jen "sorry honey the computer just caught fire... I think we need a new one" hehe... And yes it is amazing at how inexpensive they truly have become... Our next one will definately be a laptop though just because of the convience... Then this one will probably go into my fish room where hopefully it gets all corroded with SW and it gets what it deserves! *A SLOW DEATH*

Actually, now that I think about it... I could always ask my dad if he might be interested in one for his office computer in Door County... They bought one that is so new they honestly can't even get anti-virus software for it (for what they paid for it it should be like that!). But, he might concider one of these if there is a way to connect it to their system. I'll talk to him tomorrow sometime and see if he's interested. If he is are you heading that way anytime that you might be able to stop in and check it out? Their shop is literally about 2 miles out of your way to your grandparents place (I believe you said it was your grandparents at least) in Northern Door County as it is JUST off the new highway.
I'll contact him first before you even worry about that.
