So Brad was nice enough to hand deliver some coral today, they are looking good!

He got to see the mass pile-o-reef around the garage, blocking the Mustang in the garage and in the house. He got to see the tank thusfar and my need to expand!

Did you get a chance to try the 20k bulbs yet to see the difference? Let me know what you think. I'll try to find that like that I saw that bulb/ballast chart, but for 20k the XM 250 se with the m58 ballast was one of the highest for par.

*UPDATE*
So it has been like a month an a half......SLOWWWWWWWW going so far. Been quite busy at work, trying to get some snowmobiling in when I can, not sure where the rest of the time goes....unexplained.

Being the first actual reef ready tank I have "built" it is going quite slow, with lots of help from others asking this and drawing up that. Just don't want to have to do it again, or put it together and change something, etc. Trying to use as much as what came with my "package" to keep it on a "limited" budget.

My new light for the tank came. Picked up some Phoenix 14k bulbs for it as well. The skimmer was waiting to be paired up with a pump, so a Mag 18 from F&S found a new home here (Never knew you could order out of the warehouse on Saturdays and they bring it up to the retail store)

Going with 2" overflow lines and 1" return lines, so I should have enough room for the water to flow well

Will get some pictures of the plumbing as it is going thusfar. I am going to go with a 20gal frag tank on the left side of the stand which will drain back into my skimmer section.......hopefully

Sounds like a pretty good plan I will definately say... Sounds like you are going to put a few of the ideas I gave ya into effect (which some of the things I wished I had done on my own setup!)

Can't wait to see some pics to go with the delivery pics!
