Oh, and a site I've been look at for future clean-up crew ordering is reefcleaners.org. Good reviews from the searches I've done, and the prices are nice as well. Doesn't make up for the bad experience some of you just had, but it's a possible place you could try in the future that should give you a GOOD experience... Also, they make group orders very simple, which would be great for ordering a few days before a meeting sometime in the future if everyone wanted to.

"The Carriers: Our preferred shipper is USPS. To determine when your package will be shipped please look at the red lettering at the top of this page. Email us if you havge any questions. Express Mail is usually overnight, but is 2nd Day to some locations. Priority is estimated at 2-3 days. "
still would want to wait until it is warmer out...2-3 days is too long when it is below 0.

Well if they would have insulated our box, my guess is that everything would have been alive.... we only lost 6 things, an emerald, 1 hermit and 4 rics. Plus they issued us a store credit of $60. Were going to order again, IF they can guarentee that they will insulate the box... Were waiting for another email reply before we decide to ask for a refund of our money.

I use reefcleaners.org for all my inverts and they have been very nice to me. John is the best to deal with.

Yes. I emailed them before the order was shipped (from my email account) and got a response the next day. Greg emailed them (from his email account) the day we had the DOAs (friday) and they got back to us yesterday (2 business days later). They seem to be doing a good job with getting back to us promptly. We also emailed them yesterday to see if they would insulate our box and put a heat pack in it again... Now were just waiting for another response before we Re-order.

We asked if it would be possible to due an overnight ship or a guarenteed 2 day ship. Last time it was priority (2-3 day USPS *cough* garbage for shipping from my experience *cough*) it was shipped on tues and came on friday which = 4 days. So well keep ya posted on what they say in their reply.

actually its 3 days. Wed, Thurs, Friday. They don't count the pick up day.
Guys I must say this. MANY people Business and private people have switch to shipping this method (and stay competitive). I was skeptical about this to. But for the most part it has been working out for them. It helps keep the cost down and the loss ratio is still very low.... usually. But looking at the temps right now, should anyone really be trying to order and have stuff left at the door. I"m not saying that the fact it wasn't insulated is acceptable but have heard of people shipping corals in thermouses and many have made it..... a few have not.

i know that for me...i would not order until we are atleast ~near a degree~ since we are soo FLIPPIN COLD RIGHT NOW..lol..(hate winter) but i think in WI--it is really very hard to get things in the winter w/o next day shipping...or overnighting..it is expensive..but nobody has to die that way

has anyone had any experience with reefs2go.com. I just ordered some hermits and snails from there. The prices are very good but I havent seen the product yet. It should be here tommorrow as they were shipping today. Of course its only like 50 miles from me but they don't have a pick up option. Anyway sorry to ramble but was just wondering if anyone had any experience with them.

interesting site. But I wonder why do they run 2 different names for one site. I wonder why inverts are so low but fish prices are like a regular store price?
That did help me identify one of my tangs
http://www.reefs2go.com/product/TANG...corn_Tang.html
I paid 22.00 for mine.

I did notice that after I posted. But I have to say I got 100 hermits 20 ceriths and a few brittle stars like 2 days ago from there and they arrived paclkaged great and everything is still alive as much as I can tell (obviously I cant look in my tank and count 100 little crabs). So not sure if I would do any fish but the inverts seem fine. And they were delivered here in Florida and we have had a cold spell the last few days and there was heat packs in the box.
