No!!!! For real??? That is hard to believe...(not that I don't believe you). Disappointing that a "business" that accepts credit cards and has a site will not care for the products they sell.

Man, that sucks! Sorry to hear that. Hears something from cleanercrews website.

We maintain a 100% live arrival guarantee on every order.
In the event of receiving an animal that you think is dead on arrival (doa), please follow these simple steps:
1. Acclimate as normal
2. Observe for movement over a couple of hours
3. If still no movement, email us at support@cleanercrews.com
Once we have spoken with you via email we will issue a store credit or refund.
Thank you!

also me and Zachs stuff came today, nass snails, hermits and a emerald, and some shrooms, when i first opened the box everything looked dead, but i started acclimating anyway and so far, we have most of our 40 nass snails allive, atleast 3/5 hermits, im pretty sure the emerald is gone for sure, shrooms i have no idea yet, they are very slimy, but im sure that they would insulate the box if you had asked cuz i didnt think of asking for insulation but i did ask for a heat pack and i got that.

i think mine is still part of mine is still allive for one reason my mailman is an awsome guy and since the box said live fish on the outside he refused to deliver it, (since no one was home) and left a note saying that once we got home we could come pick it up at the stoddard post office, so atleast it wasnt left outside

sorry to hear that-maybe that is why they never responded to my email...i specifically asked if they guaranteed live arrival to WI-and if they used styro boxes and heat packs that would last the entire trip...they are sneaky-and do not care about the animals involved.

Well from the looks of it, Greg and I only had a few losses.... 40/40 Nass Snails, 4/5 Hermits, 0/1 emerald crab, 3/4 Rics (Greg says the shrooms look rough but were hoping they pull through) He did say that even with the heat pack the water was still pretty cold!

I'll second that. Foster and Smith are great for the winter. It's more expensive, but they actually know how to ship to the Midwest in the winter. I ordered from Florida Pets a couple years ago during the winter and my cardboard box was not insulated or anything, just packed around the bags using newspaper shreds. Luckily, everything I ordered survived, but the water was VERY cold and I was quite shocked that there were no deaths. Unfortunately, people don't treat inverts like they do fish, and therefore they cut corners and put our livestock at risk when it's so cold out up North. :-( Sorry guys, words can't describe how much that sucks...
