Anyone have a Windows XP DELL Edition I could borrow?

I was just wondering if anyone has a Windows XP CD Available??? I am truly ready to throw my PC out of the window if I can not reformat this thing... If anyone could help me out I would be so greatly appreciative!

Jason

Last time I helped you you didn't even want to share my hard work with everyone. :P

I assume Josh (kyuss) will get around to reading this at some point. I believe his skills would really help you out.

What model dell? My power switch went out one mine and they want over $200 to replace the mother board....not worth it since I already spent over 300 on new power supply and battery...

I have several different models, what do you have Cary? I can check to see if I can find a replacement board for you.

It's XP Home... And it's o.k. about the other comp Josh... Jen and I are getting a different computer hopefully next week as the schools are upgrading their comps and are selling the used ones pretty cheaply.

And Nick... the only reason I did not post the pics is because I can't get to my pics because the computer is running so poorly that I can not even get the program to load up =(... I did a system restore to three weeks ago today and it seems better... I will attempt to run my photo program to see if that will work.

But, Josh if you happen to have that cd that would be awesome if I could borrow it to reformat this P.O.S.

Thanks,

Jason

That'd be great Josh... Thanks again... I will be in LaX tomorrow after work as I'm going to head over to OTP to pick up two 40 gallon breeders that Matt kindly offered to loan to me as I am going to tear my 125 down and place the corals into those tanks while I try to figure out if it's a critter doing the damage or a chemical issue or heat... or who knows what else it could be... But, this hopefully allows me to eliminate a few of the possibilities it could be... Oddly enough ALL fish and inverts are doing terrific thus it makes me believe it is not a chemical issue... But, I'm still not ruling out any possibilities... Btw... I figured I would mention that my issue has gone from being strictly sps to spilling over to my lps corals as well. I have lost my entire Micromussa colony, lost one of my acan colonies, and losing another acan (3 heads already gone). So, whatever this is... it's kicking my butt.

=*(

cool man just give me a call.

That sucks about your colonies... I had a similar issue not too long ago, everyone of my brains, my trumpets and my micromussa's began to die off, I ended up losing all the micros, and two of my brains. The trumpets and the lobo rebounded. It was depressing. I hope you get to the bottom of it. You're right it does not sound like a chemical problem. Have you been doing water changes? I did a 150% waterchange over the space of four days and things started reversing.

I was doing water changes... but, very small ones... I am going to be shutting down the 125 and moving everything to 40 breeders which OTP Matt offered to loan to me so that hopefully I can at least isolate the problem. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with everything in the 125 (rock, sand, ect) but, I'm sure I'll figure something out. Normally this would be an ideal time to ask someone to hold onto my stuff for me... But, this is not one of those cases where I would actually want to chance sending whatever I have to someone elses tank. So, I will just have to do large scale changes after I get the 125 shut down. I'll just have to address the rock and sand (the sand I think I will be getting rid of probably) at least the vast majority of it even though it's under three years old. I will probably just run a very thin layer; just enough to keep the sand anemone's happy. AKA... my RO is going to get yet ANOTHER workout *I haven't stopped making water in nearly a month* I really need to get a bigger producing RO unit (25 gpd just does not cut it on my system).

My question is: What benefits will come from taking down the 125? I mean, I'm assuming its not actually the 125 itself...

You would assume INcorrect... the 125 has to come down in the very near future reguardless of the issue I'm having or not... This is just speeding the process up a bit. The reason the tank need to come down is because we are having our hardwood floors refinished... And I would obviously like to rescape the tank this time with less sand and have the rock setup on standers to keep the water movement dramatically better under the rocks.

It's just a lot of hastle to have especially with a tank that is for some reason not balanced.
