Zach, if you are in need of some we have been talking with chickn4 from winona about MAKING our own LR. I've found a way to make it using

1 part White Portland Cement
1 part Water
5 part Crushed Oyster Coral

Sounds like that works pretty well but, has to sit minimum 2 days but, more like 5 days before moving it. Then it has to sit in FW for roughly 6-8 weeks slowly mixing in some of your old water change SW into it to get the rock curing to be added to the tank.

Sounds like a heck of a lot of fun is all I know!

Yea i saw the thread about that.... You guys will have to let me know when you plan to test drive it... I think i remember something about this winter... Let me know id love to jump aboard, heck itll save me money, which is huge!!

Id still like to pick some up sometime soon if anyone has extra...

Well, like how much are you looking for? I don't have a ton left... But, I might be convinced to get rid of some (although lately I've been chopping it up and mounting frags on it lol).

Im not exactly sure... ive one got one "pile" of LR on the left side of my tank and a few rocks scattered about. Im looking to even the "pile" though out the tank so i can mount coral througout the rock. Im guessing i would eventually need about 50lbs to be satisfied, but even a small amount like 10-20lbs would be a start towards me "gOaL"...
