The bulbs are a 10k, but I am not sure I really like them. I am use to 14-15K and these seem too "white" for me rather then "light blue". But they came with the light so I will use them unless someone has a pair of new 15K HQI buls they want to trade.

I am also looking for another DIY project for this tank. Can I get a few sugestions from everyone. I want to finish off my CA Reactor but that is a lot of $$$ considering I just spent nearly a 1K on new lighting and chiller.

So as this hobby goes, I feel it best to point out that in the ocean tangs to swim in large shoals typically sticking to their own species or sub species with tangs. However in most home aquarium purposes there is not ample room to house multiple tangs in the same space. Its great that they get along but a 58 gallon tank is not enough room for even 1 tang. A yellow tang needs a minimum of a 75 gallons and someone mentioned a purple tang they're also to be in a 90 gallon or larger tank. Not sure what your other tang is but you definitely do not have enough swimming room for them all, not to mention a 58 is more vertical than horizontal swimming room.

Sorry its just one of those things that gets me, its almost inhumane.

Thanks for the incite but the "tang police" have already let me know of this fact. I had a 120RR before I downsized and would love to put them in a larger tank, but for now this is just were they'll have to live. If I decide to "free them from their prison" as I been told I will contact the Mall of America's aquarium team who took the last three fish who out grew my tank. Not that someone else in the club or area couldn't take care of them but none of them have a 48,000 gallon tank to give them all the room they would ever need. I really like my 58RR, but there may be another tank in the works which would keep them better.
