The tank is getting a trim around the base and top with corners to cover the chip in the right corner. This way the light has a good edge to mount to as well.

Indeed it is!! I spent hours sanding and painting. I used black semi-gloss enamel. Not bad for picking it up on Monday...

Holy crap. Thats increadible. Be proud of it.
Did you just paint the trim? I've never seen anyone do that. What'd you use?

Rust-oleum enamel. I only painted the very top edge and the outside. It will get a trim and I didn't want any light edges to reflect from inside. The only thing I have left is to maybe paint the back too. I might just leave it since the walls in my livingroom are pale yellow. The lighter color will reflect light better than say blue or black...

Oh trust me, you'll be over soon enough!! I'm gonna need your assistance when I make my plumbing list. Don't want to miss anything from Menard's since the Ace Hardware here closed now

Ace didn't close... just remodeled the front of the store... besides that AADIB (all american do it best) is just as good for plumbing parts.

Looks to be the last thing is plumbing!! I have my skimmer, sump, return pump and filter sock. Sand from OTP. Finishing up the stand on sunday. Hoping the smell is gone by the weekend to move it inside. I will post pics then...
