The plumbing looks slick,.. How long until you get your spa flex? Our HD here carries it.

Lowes carries the 1 and 1.5" but they sell for $2/ft and a little more for the 1.5". I ordered a 50' roll of each online shipped for about $1 a foot. Should be here any day. One big problem though, I thought my OM 4 way was 1.5" in and 1" out which is why I bought so much 1" spaflex. Turns out it's 2" in and 1.5 out! Looks like I will have a lot of 1" spaflex for sale. Good thing is I am using this with a sequence dart and the output is 1.5". I am using the 1,2,3,4 drum so only one output at a time. I thought I was going to reduce the diameter from the dart down to 1" when going through the 4 way and was worried about the loss of flow, no more worries there

Thanks, so far it's going as planned. I'm sure that will change somewhere along the build. The pool table is a nice treat to have down there and gives us a reason to be in the basement to look at the tank. The bar will help with that too! That's the next project

Little more plumbing done. I need to finish the last ouput from the Oceans Motions. Couldn't find the last pvc fitting I needed and had to order it today.
The drains are the 2 T's seen in the upper corners. I can't finish those until the rubbermaid sump is underneath and I can't move that untill I put all the rock in the tank. I will just use some spaflex from the unions down and run into a small rubbermaid container (24 gallon) while moving everything into place. One great thing about putting unions in strategic places is plumbing is easily modified.
And here is A good view of the OM. The smaller 1" line closest to the tank feeds a spray bar. The one to the left feeds 3 outlets on the left side of the tank. The one in the back feeds three outlets on the right side of the tank. And the one on the right will feed 2 outlets in the front corners facing the rockwork and one nozzle coming in from the waterline at the back of the tank. All outlets are controlled individually with ball valves so I can control the flow from evry output. I will most likely also put a Y on the lockline and split all of them into 2 3/4" nozzles.

Got a trio of lineatus wrasses today. One what looks like a super male, It was paired with a female but they couldn't find the female. There was another male female pair that I got with this male so hopefully there will be a dominant male, a subordinate male and a female in the group. The dominant male was flashing a bit when they were introduced to eachother but they seem to be fine, swimming by eachother without any problems.
Here is the dominant male

Went to leak test my plumbing and my OM 4-way has a small crack in the housing and the o-ring will not seal Have to wait for a replacement body and new seals before I can get water in the tank.

4-way housing was replaced and no longer leaking. Tank is half full and still filling. The spray bar is awsome, very even flow down the whole length of the bar (thanks for the design Fly Guy!). The amount of flow from the dart is amazing, I have the other 3 outlest split to 4 different nozzles and I may have to turn them back a bit because of how much flow there is. Doesn't seem like I am loosing much at all.
While it is filling, I will mix salt in the tank to bring it to salinity and temp. I will then pump most of the water into the trashcans and rubbermaids I have (most likely end up being next weekend) to add the sand and rock and minimize the sand storms. Fill back up and good to go!!!

Here is the rock lift with sand in the tank. I had it full of water for leak testing but had an issue with 2 batches of IO salt and had to throw away about 200 gallond of mixed salt water. It weas cloudy and would not clear after several days. Calcium was a little low at 320 and alk was at 10.2dkh. Salinity was only up to 1.015 at that point. Switching to Tropic Marin, it isn't the first time I have heard of this with IO but it is normally from a very high calcium level. All of the instances I have heard of have been from the 200 gallon boxes (the brown box not the white) with 4 50 gallon bags in it.
Anyway here is an update with sand at least. It will be filled this weekend.

Only from the front Hopefully most of the lockline coming in from the back will be hidden by coral.

Well that's why we don't put the piping in front of the tank It takes allot of pipe outside to make the inside of the tank pipe free

Just finished the aquacsape, still very cloudy but you can get the idea. Came out nothing like I wanted it too but I am happy with it. You can't get a good feel from a 2D picture though.
