Got some new equipment

Aquacontroller 2 with a bunch of x10 modules, temp probe and pH probe

And a light I got a few weeks ago to use on the frag tank that will be tied into the system. Reef Optix 3 pendent with Icecap 250W ballast

And some progress this weekend on the fish room. Finished sealing and painting the walls and ceiling. I also boxed in all of the copper water lines and gas lines that ran above the tank to help protect them. Bought the paint to paint the back and sides of the tank black and got silicone to put the overflow boxes in. That is this weeks project then the tank can go in it's new home.

You got allot of work done! It looks great What all do you plan on using the Aquacontroller for? Those things always make me nervous because they strike me as a single point of failure for all the systems main equiptment,.. and there too expensive to keep a spare

Now your moving along!

For the most part I am going to use it to monitor temp and pH. I will use it to turn on fans and then turn off halides if the temp gets too hot. I trust this more than the built ion thermastats on heaters. These seem to malfunction much less often than heaters, but probably because of the massive number of heaters used to the small number of controllers.

Now if I could only get water in the display I got some people coming over tomorrow to help me get it in the wall. Ordered 50 feet each of 1 and 1.5" spa flex yesterday to plumb the closed loop and drains.

That was one of the driving factors to finishing the basement. Weve had the table for about a month now and I love it. My roomate in college (I lived in an appartment) had one and we played all the time.

I spend most of the weekend in a bar up the street shooting pool,.. Earler in the day they have the tables open,.. so the games are free, and it's perfect practice time,.. then later, at night, I come back for a long island ice tea and to shoot agenst the better players that are usually there later at night. Then the trick is to only spend $0.75 and hold the table I would love my own table.

The plumbing looks slick,.. How long until you get your spa flex? Our HD here carries it.
