Well, good luck with that. Not only is my sump in the basement, so is my tank. All of it relegated below ground.

I run the ASM G3 on my 125, and it's doing a good job. Actually got it at That Fish Place, also. Don't know if it'd be enough for a 220 gallon.

I don't know if it's too late to comment, but I am a big fan of the "G" series of skimmers, I think they are a great product at a resonable price and they do an exelent job. For a 220 I think I would go with the G4.

Do you have the Mag 24 running external or internal? Do you have it hard plummed, or do you have a short length of rubber tubing between the pump and hard plumbing? What kind of noise is it making?
