So I wake up this morning, and Everything is.... well.... alive. Thats the #1 worry I had since I used the wrong silicone initially. Im glad I got as much out as I Can, and whatever was left either wasnt enough to kill the fish, or I covered up with the GEI.

So I went home for lunch today, and the tank temp was only up to 78 degrees. This is with the 10k MH on, along with no fan on. So thats definitely good. With the fan on, it should be no problem at all.
and Ive noticed the bubbles are subsiding a little bit.

Thanks man. Same here. Im very very anxious. I planned on having it ready for my uncles wedding, because alot of my family will be here, including my aunt from Hawaii.. But thats this saturday, so I guess that wont happen! lol. Unless I can pull a quick $400-$500 out of.. well... anywhere. Then I can load it up with some LPS real quick.
I guess I'll have to get a couple cool fish instead =\

So the Tunze 6045s came in today... Im sure glad I went with the 6045s instead of the 6025s. These 6045s dont even feel like enough flow. I dont know if its because its so wide or what. But they feel like less flow than my MJ1200.

And I broke a mounting clip on one of them!#*!#%&!
Marinedepot said Id have to frickin send em back, and theyd replace em. They cant just send a replacement mount. Thats kinda crappy, I might just superglue it.

ok, so I just glued it to the magnet, all seems well. Well anyhow, I have both of these 6045s in the tank, pointing kind of towards the center of the front pane. The flow seems real weak, but when I look at the micro bubbles in the tank, theyre not moving tooo incredibly fast, but they are moving in the most absolute random flow patters ive seen. I also stuck an unmodded MJ1200 behind the rocks, on the floor, blowing towards the front of the tank, to keep the detritus from settling. Im working on a video as we speak....

Thats a lot crappier on photobucket than it was on my camera. IT was bad enough getting a vid of the flow with only the micro bubbles. So the video is kinda pointless on here. I'll try to get a better one.

So I cant get the hang of this flow. I dont think Im placing the Tunzes right. I have one in the upper right hand back corner of my tank, which seems fine, its below the skimmer outlet. But I cant figure out where to put the 2nd one. Currently, its in the exact opposite location. But that location is right below the overflow. And It seems like it wont give the detritus a chance to get over the overflow and into the skimmer. I also have a MJ1200 behind the main rock structure, pointing at the ground, to keep the stuff from settling, which I just hid with a rock.
Where would the suggested placement of this 2nd tunze be? Anyone have any ideas? Im already started to get a little bit of detritus settling. Hopefully it wont get more than it is, and I can just siphon the bottom when doing a WC. Im gonna try to get a good video of the flow soon.

I did a crappy job on the flow, but at least this time its better. ITs kinda hard holding the camera, and also blowing through a tube lol.
