So here is my first big post about my build!
I currently have a 29 biocube and a 24 gal nano. Plug and play until now!
I am taking down the 24 gal nano and selling. The 29 gal will become a hospital/quarantine tank (ADIOS ICH!)
My NEW tank is a whopping 75 gal AGA reef ready with matching stand.
Marineland T-5 lights (4 54 w) with reflector
CPR CY194 biocyclone filter with venturi skimmer/Rio 1700 pump
Visitherm heater
1-2 inch new sand bed
starting with my cycled rock about 35 lbs.
MAG 9.5 pump
Going into the tank:
Pair nemo clownfish
yellow wrasse
coral beauty
red hawkfish
scooter blenny
pair cleaner shrimp
2 emerald crabs
snail/hermit cleaning crew
Orange mushrooms
blue mushroom
pink w/green stripe mushrooms
2
feather dusters
xenia
torch
clam (purple)
purple gorgonian
assorted zoas
favia
cup coral
yellow polyps
balloon coral
montipora
finger leather
going to start the big switch this weekend. Everyone will hang out in the 29 gal nano until the tank is cycled with LR. I am not anticipating much of a cycle because I will move much of the LR right away.
The plumbing was a big issue because I am reef challenged so the LFS owner was nice enough to make every connection I needed. So wish me luck, we will see and I will post pics!
