Well I decided to join the fun and do a 70-80 gallon reef. I have not decided yet what size it will actually be but that is in the ballpark. I plan on doing a custom built glass tank, sump, and stand. I will do the sump and stand myself. Found the lighting and skimmer I think just would like some opinions. I want to do a cls for flow so that I do not have any power heads in the display, looking into a
OceansMotions 4 Way. It looks like that will work pretty well. The tank will have an overflow box or possibly 2, has anyone done a tank with one in each corner? Looking into a asm g2 or a mrc mr-1 skimmer anybody have a preference? As for lighting since the tank will only be 20" tall I plan on going with a icecap 660 t-5 retro kit. Stand will be wired and switches for all electrical components, I have a plan which I will share later. The sump will be on stainless roller tracks so that If I have to I open a door on the side of the stand and slide the sump out like a drawer do what I need to do and put it back. Lots of Ideas
just need a little help with some of the flow questions. Here is a pic of what I am starting with
