I would say the dark with a lighter color grout but if you go with a light color use a dark grout .

Ok, we are going with the dark tile, and possibly using the light tile as a boarder along the wall, to seal that area in case of leaks so that the water doesnt get into the walls. I will go pick up the tile on Wed, and then I just gotta figure out when I can get together with my friend to get the tiling done . We should have a few pics this week (hopefully) of the begining of the tank construction as well
Oh, and we won $90 at our poker game last night, that went straight into the tank fund

acrylic came in for the tank today so it should be cut the week, and hopefully assembly will start next week. I also ordered the rock today, it will be in tomorrow. We went with 200 pounds of Kaelini. It should look nice. I have a friend who volunteered to hold it for me, and recure untill I have the tank wet and ready to go

good, thought, but I think that may be a project for later on. Currently we are running out of time and I am battling a bout of RTN in the frag tank that has me stumped.

Very cool! How long does it take them to build it and get it shipped out?

5 hours to build the 4 sides, and then they have to let it set overnight. It will be finished tomorrow, and it is local, so no shipping needed.

Oh, very nice! That will save some money,.. shipping a tank gets pricey, plus this way there won't be a chance of damage in shipping. Congrats! I bet your excited.

you bet I am! All that will be left by tomorrow afternoon is the external overflows. I cant wait. I have a friend coming to tile this weekend, I think, and then it is time to get the stand going, and start drilling some holes in the walls.

How thick is the acrylic? Looks to be about 3/4 of an inch, but it's hard to tell perspective. That will be fun to move!
