Beautiful doesn't even scratch the surface of what I see in these pics you posted. Well done! I love it all from the rock to the stand to the selection of fish. Great job. I was wondering how easy is it to access the tank? Does the canopy have a door or panel that slides? I'd like to make one, but all my plans are not very functional or accessable

the top panel come off so that you can work in it and the lights are on a pulley systen that makes it easy to work in.

The front of the tank is actually 2 panels that fit together and are super velcro'ed up. The center block comes off and then you can pull down the panels, leaving the entire front wide open for working on the tank.

Very Nice! Love the tank and the cabinet! This may have been asked before, but do you have any algae problems from the window being right there?

no real algae problems from the window. Believe it or not the side the natural light comes in seems to stay naturally cleaner than the rest of the tank

Ok, I haven't updated for a while, but I figured I would give a final breakdown of the system and inhabitants now that it is complete.

Equipment:
Circulation~
Sequence Wahoo return pump
2- 1" seaswirls
6 tunze 6100's. 4 on a controller with magnet mounts. The other 2 run full on in tunze rocks in the back.

Lighting:
3x400w MH (radiums run with pfo magnetic ballasts)
2x6' vho actinic supplementation

Reactors and filtering equipment:
Volcano Skimmer
Volcano Calcium reactor
Reeftek Kalk reactor
2 Deltec fluidized reactors (1 for carbon and 1 for GFO)

All equipment is run by an ACIII.

800 watt jalli titanium heater
1/2 hp pacific coast chiller fed by a gen-x 40

Sump is 150 gallon rubbermaid with 100 lbs of rubble rock and several different types of macro algae and mangroves

Topoff is a gravity fed float valve fed from a container holding RO/DI water which cannot fill more than 15 gallons a day. This was done to ensure that a failure of the valve would not cause harm to the tank. 15 gallons only chances my SG .001

Livestock:

Fish~
8" Blonde Naso Tang
6" Regal Tang
5" Sailfin tang
6" Magnificent Foxface
6" Lawnmower Blenny
3" Lubbocks Wrasse
Maited Pair of True Perculas
one single lonely Anthias
one single lonely blue chromis

Inverts:
RBTA
about 150 astrea snails
50 misc snails
1 emerald crab

Corals:
Way to many to name so I will just highlight a few

sps~
Tyree:
soli
purple monster
becker tort
ponape torch
ponape birdsnest
pink lemonade
pink jade
steve elias stag
ultimate blue stag
bali tricolor
sky blue milli
echino aspera
cyphastrea
leng sy cap
idaho grape cap
20,000 leagues lokani
rainbow monti
shaun bennet validia
true undata
purple unknown

Other LE's~
flashlight acro
roab digi
garf bonsia
aquarium city red milli
Mike palletta pink and blue prostrata
halloween milli
ufo micros
purple haze micros
vintage micros
Aquascene Echinata
Gregg Hiller Aqua Delight
Tubs mystic blue

Other favorite corals of mine:
Several Aussie Acans
huge red lobo
xmas favia colony
montastrea conlony
ORA miami Orchid
ORA birdsnest
ORA stylophora
ORA Chips
ORA Scripp milli
ORA Rose milli

and a ton of other stuff not listed. That about wraps it up I guess. Now that I have my big skimmer, once it is dialed in I am going to start adding my wrasses and anthias. Oh, and one more Tang... I really want a Half-black mimmic tang.... and a few more chromis. Really... Thats all
