I will post more pics when I get them. For now check out the webcam! I will be able to actually look at my tank in a few weeks (haven't actually seen it yet!).

tank pics

The tank is coming along great.

It's becoming a tang tank....
blue hippo tang
clown tang
yellow tang
yellow eyed tang (forget the name)
LARGE rabbitfish
adding in a copperbanded butterfly due to the HUGE aptasia problem

I am currently moving from IN to MI and have not actually seen my tank until this week. My hubby tries, but he has NOT taken care of the aptasia. Going to try a butterfly for now and cross my fingers.....

Here are some pics below of the process of adding new sand....

So had a huge rock fall on one of my two BTAs last night, (size of basketball BTA) and it decided to move and get it's footpad into an intake valve..pretty much a goner.

Had some RTN to some SPS (all but one)

Mandarin losing weight despite the large amount of copepods in the refugium.

Spent a good penny on all new lights thinking that might be part of the problem...nope, that quickened the RTN.

We close on our new house July 3. We will be building the tank into the wall and putting our stand up for sale for those interested. I love that stand but my husband hates it. We paid a pretty penny for all of it too! $1300 for tank, stand, and lights. So more to come.....

Oh, and my Euroreef skimmer's pump broke. Won't get a new one until next Wed. Perfect timing for something to die in my tank. Especially since my RO filter is done as well and the new one isn't here yet.

After much labor intensive work I got my tank moved into the wall! I have lost many corals having my tank in my father's basement and a few fish. Pics to come tonight when I get home (currently at my alma mater in IN).

JUST WAIT....IT'S GORGEOUS!

Sorry they are out of order! Boiler up is on the white painted brick because we are going to cover it with mahogany-like wood.

Very nice , the front access is a good move , I see so many people forget it and then down the road wish they didn't, Very hard to clean a tank from the back and gets worst over time as the tank matures
