I like the clean lines the acrylic gives you. Glad you went acrylic.

5.1 should be fine for a 10 gallon, but if you really want it doner right I'd go 7.1!

Things are coming along. I would like to try acrylic someday. just scared that i would scratch it, i manage to scratch every glass tank i have so im scared of acrylic.

passed the leak test. now that the room is clean and i can get to it, i will be starting this weekend. i still need to mod the MH pendant and i need to build a hood. water will be in it this saturday.

ok, water is in and circulating via the skimmer. I also found the perfect think to create the hood for the tank. i will take a pic tonight.

Ok, here is a pic of the setup... still messy but i will clean it up soon. the MH pendant is sitting next to the tank and will attach neatly to the "hood" i have. should look pretty nice. Now i just hope the ballast works and that 150w is not too much for what i will be keeping.

Looks good. Hopefully the MH doesn't heat up the water too much.

Ok, here is a shot with the lighting and 1 rock in the tank. the tiny red dot is my baby clown. I will be placing some coral in soon so we will see if 150w MH is too much on a 10g.
