How's the Yellow Cucumber doing? I've been thinking of getting one myself. Does he clean the sand at all?

The yellow cucumber mainly just filter feeds. It doesn't really move much once it finds a comfortable spot. The red bali star is a little more entertaining. If you need cucumber to mop your sandbed I would go with a tigertail cucumber, its a little more active plus not as dangerous to your tank if you have other critters that may attack.

PS. Updated pics coming today!!!

Thanks, I'll look into that. The only problem is I hate to pay that much shipping for one and I cant find a LFS around here that carries cucumbers at all...

Well here it is

Sorry folks, the pics don't do it justice. I couldn't find my camera since I packed it so I took these with a video camera. The tanks come a long way since starting in a few rubbermaid containers. My final water paramaters was 0,0,.01, ph. 8.25, temp 80 f, ca 415, alk 3.20. Durring the wedding planning and stuff I missed a water change or two but over all I probably averaged a one gallon change every 14 days. I never did find a fish yet, your options are definately limited with a tank this size.
