Yup you can see the couch, but that's not it

The cabinet came from a LFS called Saltwater Fantaseas. Patrick, the owner, has a guy who makes them for him. It's oak with 2 shelves. They did a really nice job.

And another of Bert the cleaner shrimp. I netted him out of the 10, but he didn't really like that so I hand picked him out of the bucket. It really wasn't that hard.

Currently mixing a few more gallons of water because I fell short in the move. I found a lot of snail shells where past tenants had vacated the premesis. Still, a few astrea and nas are still around. I also still have a few blue and red leg hermits. I like those guys.

Tomorrow I'm going to add an algae blenny to try & get this hair algae under control. I pulled dozens of thick mats off the rocks. Purigen killed it, but it bounced right back. Hopefully I can find a reasonable long-term solution. Or if it grows crazy then the algae blenny will have lots to eat.

You can see a few different types of macro algae growing. I really like the way it looks and as long as I can keep it under control I'll let it stay. I like the green it adds and anything for decent nitrate export.

Thank you phiberop840

I got a new addition yesterday... a firefish. I had him eating a little cyclo-peeze this afternoon which is always a good sign. Took about 2 hours acclimating him just to be sure. This afternoon I got home and couldn't find him. I, of course, panicked and searched the floor, behind the stand, then was up on a chair with a flashlight looking in the back chambers. I couldn't find him for 20 minutes or so. Then I turned on the MH and he appeared right away. When trying to feed I had a syringe of dried cyclo-peeze soaked in SW. He swam into his hiding spot (so I know where it is now) and I just squirted a bunch into his hole and he popped right out.

Also pictured is some macro algae and GSP. The GSP has a bald spot on top where it was too close to the light for too long. In time it'll fill back in though I hope. I also have a blue/purple shroom who isn't doing well. Moving it around the tank trying to find a spot it likes.

I will soon add more LR and a peppermint shrimp to handle a little stubborn aptasia.

Oh I should mention the temp is 81*, which is a bit high. I'll be getting a fan to blow across the glass top. I have a feeling I'll need to address this come summer time. Hopefully I'll find a group buy on chillers or find something cheap used. Hmmmmmmm

Some updates.
Photo 1) The GSP are really doing great in their spot. They're filling in the bald spot on top of the rock more quickly than I thought they would. They'll take that whole rock before too long.

Photo 2) Cool white hammer coral I got from Brad B. It's starting to come out more. I think it'll really shine once it comes out fully.

Photo 3) Roxanne the fire-fish is getting more & more friendly. She hides in the rock under the GSP at night and when I'm fidgeting in the tank.

Photo 4) A beautiful pair of aptasia anemone's I got at the LFS.

Still to come... more rock & a fan to cool it better. For livestock I'm going to get an anemone & percula clown. I'll probably also add a chiller if I can find a place to put it. It gets ~100* here in the summer and we don't have AC.

I like the sunpod. Makes me wish I woulda saved a couple hundred dollars, and not got the outerorbit with T5s. That sunpod alone makes everything look nice...

But the photo's look really washed out. I'm afraid my little poiint & shoot doesn't take the best reef pics.
