Finally got my LR. It's FULL of LR at this point and I'm not sure like that exactly. It caused a bit of a diatom bloom, but the fis & shrimp didn't seem to mind. The macro algae is getting much bigger in the front of the tank, I like the contrast the green makes.

Jake (sorry, forgot your handle!), a fellow reefer here in Portland was kind enough to donate some xenia, a finger leather and some pretty red shrooms. I also got a new camera that will arrive soon so I'll post pics next week when it arrives.

So far it has been stable & healthy. The added 14 gallons over my little 10g has made a huge difference in terms of stability. My temps continue to be high at around 80-81 with the MH & glass top, but I haven't seen any ill effects from that.

Here's an updated picture. Things are happy & healthy. My macro algae is growing really fast. Still dealing with hair, but I think it's from the rocks leaching something into the tank. I pick it off for 30 minutes with each weekly water change.

*update*
The tank is doing great right now. It has been stable. The hair algae is not growing as quickly as it was, so it is receding. I'm keeping up with water changes once every 10 days. I'll get some pictures up as soon as I get them off my camera.

Looks good I was just at Patricks shop today looking at the same set up. I like these tanks for the simplicity of them. I think I will try one once I get my sons 29 going .
