if that thing gets too big you should make a finger leather forest in there.

another update!
well the sinularia wasnt likeing it in there but zoas gsp and shrooms seem to be doing great! surprised at how well this tank is doing, thinking of getting a goby and pistol shrimp and taking out the damsel. heres some new pics. levels not doing bad either, im not really monitoring kh and calcium, but po4 is 5 or less, and ph seems a stable 8.4 everytime i check it. the only thing that swings a little is salinity, but trying to keep up on topoffs. im loving this little tank, so glad for this event!

just wanted to mention how well this tank is doing and how much ive been enjoying it. just sitting here reading threads and looking at the nano. id have to say i spend more time looking at it than any of my other tanks. the only thing i wish i would have done different is i wish i would have got one thats a bit bigger. maybe a 5gal minibow. been trying to get the damsel out without sucess, got a really cool hifin goby on hold at the lfs, and i still want a couple sexy shrimp.

just tested all the params for the first time since the cycle, and not too bad. ph=8, sg=1.026 no3=5 dkh=9 ca=410. never used any additives, just reefcrystals salt which is in all my tanks. been doing 1/2gal wcs bi-weekly, just did one yesterday which leads me to believe nitrates were much higher. someone needs to invent a decent small nano skimmer!! anyone ever try an airstone mod in a skilter?

thinking this weekend im going to go to a couple lfs and try to find a small ph that i can rig up a sort of spraybar to get some flow going through my rock. theres a couple spots where detritus seems to like to build up.

well i went and got the smallest ph ive ever seen. its a rio 50 rated at 65gph. i still think im going to try and rig up a spraybar or something out of it but for now its running in the tank. cost 15 bucks. funny how 60gph equals about a 25x turnover, kinda like my 18w light is 7wpg lol. heres a pic of the new pump, im not thrilled about how it looks in the display, but when i make a spraybar out of it ill tuck it behind a rock or something.

It would look a bit better if you removed the nozel adapter.
