My 29g Bio Cube build

So far I am pretty pleased with this tank. I think it could be left stock and work just fine, but where would the fun in that be? Everything can always be upgraded. I am planing on changing out the stock pump for a rio 6HF and putting a hydroflow on the return. I also plan on upgrading the lighting to 144w of pc. The stock 72w just doesn't look like it will cut it, it just doesn't look bright enough. Here are a couple pics of it just set up with fresh RODI water in it for leak tests. I probably won't get much else done until after the new year.

So I lied again. The lighting upgrade will be here Friday so hopefully I will be able to get that in sometime this weekend. I ordered the upgraded lighting kit from nanotuners. It comes with a new reflector, 2 new fans, and one new ballast to run the 2 new bulbs that are also supplied by them. Pretty excited because the stock lighting looks dim.

Good deal on the retro from nanotuners ! I upgraded my JBJ nanocube with a kit from them and I love it

I thought about it but I am just going to stick with softies and lps. I also didn't want to figure out how I would keep the water in the tank when I decided I would need a tunze 6200.
