My 20 Gallon Build

I think that its time for me to finally post something so I guess I'll enter in this build contest. I already have a 10 gallon nano going but I want to upgrade to a 20 Gallon and use the 10 gallon as a sump/fuge. I picked up the 20 from the LFS that I work at and I'm going to be building the stand, canopy and sump over the next couple of months. I'm not sure what all I'm going to put in the 20 for livestock but I'll move all of the stuff in my 10 over including some pagoda coral, bubble coral, anthelia, some assorted polyps, a BTA, a carpet anemone, two maroon clowns and a yellow watchman goby. There's some blue-leg hermits and some snails movin it over too. That's pretty much all that I've got to say for now.

Update On Build

I have started building my stand out of some 2 x 4 and plywood and my next post will have some pictures of that including the finished product. Also, over the past few days I have been getting my 20 gallon overflow-ready so i have some pictures of that in the next few posts. The pictures in this post show the drilled and painted tank, the overflow box and bulkhead, and the finished overflow box product. I bought the tank from the pet store I work at and the manager drilled the tank and gave me the bulkhead for free. I got some sand for free and bought some live rock for half price. I also got some macro algae for free and I have this, the sand and the rock sitting inj a rubbermaid of water with a powerhead under some t-5's while I'm getting the 20 ready.

Sump pump

I got my dad to pick me up a bilge pump and some cheap computer fans from a surplus auto hardware store a few hours away. The pump only cost me $20 so that saved me a little money. I have a pic posted of it below. I have to wait till i can empty my running 10 gallon into the 20 before i can get the 10 ready for bein a sump and putting the pump in it though.

Update

Sorry for the long absence. I've been busy with school and work over the past couple months so I haven't really had a chance to post anything. Anyways, the tank is coming along alright. It's all up and running. The stand was built before the new year. The sump was constructed and pretty much everything was hooked up in the first week of January. I thought that there wasn't going to be oo much of a cycle due to the switching over of live rock and newer live rock additions but changing my substrate caused quite an algae bloom. Everything is running pretty smoothly now. I got a used mag 2 pump from my work for free and am using that instead of the other pump because it wasn't working very well. Right now I am running some T-5's on the tank but I'm eyeing up a 175 W MH on ebay right now so hopefully that will work out. As far as livestock goes, I've got a yellow watchman goby, a mandarin goby, and a purple firefish for fish and then for corals I have some star polyps, a couple mushroom leathers, a little red brain, some random polyps and a small pagoda coral. Umm.. that's all I can think of right now but I'll add some pictures as well.
