Kelli's Desktop 5.5 Redo

Since I was unhappy with how the 5.5 turned out I will be completely taking it apart and starting over.

The system is very basic an AGA 5.5g with custom stand and canopy.
Total water volume will be between 4-6 gallons depending on the amount of live rock
Flow will be provided by a HOB power filter.
Lighting is 2 x 18 watts 1 10k and 1 actinic
Current thinking is a DSB of black sand

Planned inhabitants are Misc softies Ideally I'd like a zoo tank and a red-headed goby I saw at the LFS. I need to research that though the ones he had were tiny I'm not sure how big they get.

I will probably do the complete teardown and cleaning this weekend

Very nice Kelli! I like the black sand, and I really like the base and canopy. That HOB filter is HUGE compaired to that tank! It's a good way to get nice even flow with out powerheads in the tank.

It really looks bigger than a 5.5, how much live rock do you have in there?
