10gal
I plan on doing a all enclosed 10gal with stand. 7gal viewing with approx. 1-2gal sump. MH lighting, Zoes and possibly a small anenome and clown. Livestock is still in the air, sorry. This is going to be all new to me. Never messed with silicone and plexi. Wish me luck.

Sounds good but with the plexi you will need something called "Weld On" to bond the panels. The silicone wont hold.
Fully enclosed sounds like a cool idea, cant wait to see it take shape!

So I went and attempted to take a picture of everything I have.... no battery for the camera.. and can't find the charger... So now I am at a stand still until I find the charger. Supplies are stacking.... and I am itching to get started... Shift work is not helping me... work by 1300... and off at midnight... blah. Hope to get started soon.
What if I melted the ends of the plexi together?

Silicone won't work! Use the weld-on.melting won't workunless you have a frame that takes the pressure off the joints.

And there off!!
Here we go... found the battery charger. I bought the 10gal at one of the pet stores. Just a normal all glass tank. I had a 2.5 gal set up in Guam ( and it is set up now) but I got the mini skimmer hoping to add it to the 2.5 and it didn't fit without horribly disfiguring the top... so it has sat for almost a year not being used.. what a great time! The 2 AZOO 200's will come in handy too. May upgrade those or put them in the 55 for more flow.. haven't got that far yet.

Well... had a little problem with the baffles... Cleaning the 55 and my knee hit the drying baffle set and broke them off. Start over cutting the lexan. I have sand and another pump on the way. Using the black and white Caribsea. Hopefully have the tank together this week.

Woh, that is a really sweet idea! Very inventive, hides the equiptment great too while still letting you have a desktop style tank. Good work!

Very Cool!
Could you list what each section is for and maybe show how each converges to the next section?

Here is the plan... drawn on the bottom of the tank. Dotted lines are the under flows and solid is the over. Holes represent flow through. If you look at the earlier posts, the black plastic is the tank division with holes not slots for the overflow and 2 returns one at the bottom and one at the top. The only change to these plans are in the under/over before the mini refugium. the over is now a through with 25-50 ( I didn't count) small holes... allowing for an even flow throught the refugium. For return pumps I am using 2 rio pumps, upper is a 400 and lower is a 200.
