Reefkeeper Lite, or Aquacontroller Jr.

I was pretty excited when I saw the price for the Reefkeeper Lite Level 3, you get a lot of control for the money. But, I started reading some negative reviews about the Reefkeeper Elite, and now I'm wondering if those same issues are inherent in the design of the Lite as well.

So, Reefkeeper Lite, or Aquacontroller Jr.?

I have an RKE (ReefKeeper Elite) and it has been a very solid preformer for me.

I had a profilux and switched to the RKE, the RKE is a lot more bang for the buck.

I would suggest getting the RKE as it gives you a lot more room for growth.

I just got the RKL3 yesterday and have to say I already miss my RK2.
Yes it can do alot more but it is a PITA.

Before I could even use it out of the box I had to update the firmware and have yet to get the PH calibrated right...

I have RKL3, RKE, and AC Jr. on different tanks around the house.
The difference between the RKL3 and the AC Jr. are minor. I would say a toss up between the two.

After playing for a few years I've just grown to the Neptune line. Not sure why, just do. I now run my tank with a AC jr and a ACIII. Fairly happy with both.
